Founder and Lead Teacher Katya Dmitrieva
My name is Katya Dmitrieva, and I am the founder of the Intuitive Life Coaching Academy of the Third Eye (ILCATE). With 12 years of full-time coaching experience and over 1,000 clients under my belt, I am not just an accomplished coach but a beacon of hope and guidance.
As an ICF certified Professional Certified Coach (PCC), my expertise is internationally recognized. My journey into coaching was born out of personal trials. During a challenging phase of life, involving being laid off, family loss, and near loss of our family home, I stood at a crossroads: return to corporate America or venture into uncharted waters. Choosing the latter, I asked myself, “How can I combine my love of helping people with my intuition?”
This question marked the beginning of my remarkable journey into life coaching. Despite financial constraints, I invested in the most expensive life coaching program available, a decision that proved its worth every day. Post-graduation, I embarked on a mission to reshape the way my clients approached their businesses, lives, and families. My clientele spans a diverse range, from entrepreneurs and CEOs to doctors, real estate brokers, and even winery owners.
Beyond one-on-one coaching, I expanded into classes, meetups, and retreats. Yet, I sensed a missing piece. During a meetup amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in September 2020, I got the idea to teach people to use their intuitive skills in life coaching. Recognizing a need for a structured approach to intuitive coaching, I created a program that soon gained accreditation, and ILCATE was born.
My philosophy extends beyond mere business. I am passionate about working with individuals whose motivation transcends financial gain, those driven by a deeper ‘Why’ – a passion for making lives better. ILCATE emphasizes shifting from the mindset of coaching being mere service providers to holistic and authentic entrepreneurs, and this starts with our students. Today, ILCATE is a testament to resilience, intuition, and the transformative power of coaching. My life and work reflect a journey of turning challenges into opportunities, intuition into action, and dreams into reality.
ILCATE Teachers:
Max:
Max was a member of the very first ILCATE class, in 2020, and holds his PCC certification through the International Coaching Federation. Max takes pride in challenging students using the Socratic method and believes students are capable of much more than they believe. He has been associated with ILCATE ever since completing his own training course and loves seeing students gain confidence as they see themselves doing things they did not think they could do. Outside of ILCATE, Max runs a commercial real estate finance business, is active in his business community, enjoys spending time with his family (which includes a dog), and training in jiu jitsu (among other things).
Asiyah:
Asiyah Abdul-Mu’min is a teacher and the Director of Students Affairs for ILCATE. She was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. In her early 20s she became a doula and childbirth educator. In 2010, she graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Gender and Women's Studies. Shortly after graduating, she got married and began having children. Experiencing the struggles and life and body changes associated with pregnancy and parenting, she realized that although birth is important, what comes after can be much harder. She decided to become a coach to gain the skills to support parents and children on their life journeys. She began by becoming a certified Eating Psychology Coach in 2020 then went on to become a certified Intuitive Life Coach with ILCATE in 2022. Her experience with ILCATE was both beautiful and difficult, so she decided to stay on to support other students as they traverse the beautiful and often rough road of learning, self discovery, and growth that ILCATE offers. Asiyah lives in Hayward, CA with her husband and children.
Karen:
Karen Ellis is originally from Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. She lived there until she was eight, at which point she and her family moved to Davenport, Iowa. After serving as a student athletic trainer for five years in high school, she pursued a pre-medicine career at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, earning her Bachelor of Science in Zoology with minors in Psychology and Chemistry in May of 2006. In October 2009, Karen received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. By September 2010, she had opened Touch of Wellness Chiropractic in Morton, Illinois. Since opening her practice in 2010, Karen has pursued post-doctorate certifications and degrees in Acupuncture, Animal Chiropractic, Animal Communication and Intuitive Life Coaching. She has been a teacher and mentor coach since 2022 and is co-teaching the business module for ILCATE. Outside of her Chiropractic office, Karen owns a chiropractic billing company, a non profit for animal chiropractic continuing education, and a clinical mastery company with her father. In her free time, Karen loves to travel and enjoy the outdoors with her husband, Bill, especially when she's at the beach or near a body of water. On less favorable weather days, she enjoys playing with her dogs, Hercules and Apollo (who often accompany her to work), playing cards, volleyball, and watching sports, particularly the Bears, Cubs, Canucks, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Jessica
Jessica Coberly is an ultrasound technician and intuitive life coach. She graduated from ILCATE in 2021 and has been involved with us ever since. Her bright energy and infectious curiosity gives her a unique perspective and valuable insight.
Cassandra
Cassandra Mason is a chiropractor and intuitive life coach. She has been a mentor and valued part of the ILCATE team since 2023. Her compassion and warm energy make her an exceptional coach and mentor.
ILCATE Creators:
Creative Manager Sana Budiak
Sana Budiak is a creative mind and inspirational coach, author, photographer, and creative person. She graduated from ILCATE in 2022 and joined our team half a year after graduation as a content creator for social media . Later on, she became the creative manager of ILCATE Academy. Her ideas and inspiration help us to grow and move forward in a beautiful and stylish way.
